Companion Care Assistant  Job Description

Must be able to create a heartfelt aging experience and client focused care in a residential and community setting. 

Deliver on our Heartfelt promise by owning the clients experience, ensuring that you strive to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families.

Typical duties include: 

• Assistance with ADLs (Activities of daily living)

• Prepare and serve meals and/or snacks

• Transfer/Mobility Assistance

• May remind client of medication

• Light Housekeeping (linen changes, laundry, dishes, sweep, mop)

• Shopping, errands, and transportation which could include visits to doctor appointments, friends, family members, stores, church)

• Provide Companionship to client

Weekends ONLY:

This position is for Weekend Hours ONLY

Must have reliable transportation and willing to fill in on assignments in all directions of Marion County, also including, Greenwood, Noblesville, Westfield, and Carmel

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older (maturity is a must)

• Driver’s license and social security Card or government issued ID

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to pass a background check

• CPR/First Aid certified (preferred)

• Proof of negative TB test within in last 12 months (preferred to already have but can assist to get)

• Genuine care for others and the willingness to learn
