What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose, service, and repair gas fireplaces, wood-burning fireplaces, and electric fireplaces in residential settings.
- Perform fireplace cleanings, safety inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot ignition systems, thermopiles, pilot lights, blowers, gas lines, and venting issues.
- Install new fireplaces, inserts, and log sets (as a Fireplace Installer) when required.
- Clearly communicate findings, safety recommendations, and repair options to customers.
- Provide outstanding customer service and represent the company with integrity and professionalism.
- Stay up to date on industry standards, codes, and manufacturer training.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a Fireplace Service Technician, Gas Fireplace Technician, or in Gas Appliance Service.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Familiarity with gas piping, venting systems, and safety regulations.
- Positive, professional attitude with a passion for helping people.
- Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and occasionally on rooftops.
- Must pass a physical, background check, and drug screening.
