At Ashworth Heating & Cooling, we’ve proudly served Teays Valley, Hurricane, and the surrounding areas since 1996 as a Factory Authorized Carrier Dealer and trusted name in comfort and quality. As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our services in 2026 to include residential plumbing—and we’re looking for a skilled Journeyman Plumber to help lead this new department.

What You’ll Do
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively using strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Perform pipe fitting, soldering, and welding tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians on integrated system installs or service projects.
- Provide exceptional service to customers, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and company procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumber or Journeyman Plumber (residential experience preferred).
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in plumbing work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
