As we continue to grow, we are expanding into generator installation services and are looking for a skilled Gas Piping & Generator Technician to join our team.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Install residential gas lines for standby generator systems.
- Perform pipefitting work in compliance with local codes and safety standards.
- Fabricate and assemble generator stands prior to installation.
- Assist with generator placement and preparation for electrical installation.
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized job sites.
- Work collaboratively with electricians and team members to ensure high-quality installations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners.
- Represent Charleston Electric and Air with integrity, craftsmanship, and customer-focused service.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in gas piping, pipefitting, plumbing, or similar trades.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with fabrication or mechanical assembly.
- Ability to learn and adapt — we’re open to training strong candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
