Job Overview: The dining room host/hostess is a servant-hearted individual dedicated to creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere for every guest who visits, while maintaining a clean atmosphere for guests to dine and socialize comfortably.


Pay: $15-$17/hr depending on experience

Availability: 7:00am-10:00pm


Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Fluent in speaking English
  • Be able to stand/walk up to 100 feet at a time, over a period of four hours without a break
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictions
  • Be able to work with basic restaurant cleaning chemicals and tools with no restrictions or allergies
  • Gain knowledge of all menu items and in-restaurant events
  • Be able to handle a fast-paced and quickly-changing work environment
  • Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
  • Keep the dining room & restrooms clean to Chick-fil-A’s standards. Cleaning tasks include, but may not be limited to, cleaning off table tops, sweeping and mopping dining room floors, and cleaning doors and windows.
  • Engage our guests with a servant-hearted mindset, hospitality, and care by asking if they need refills on beverages, clear trays and check if they need any sauces etc.
  • Always go the second-mile while caring for our guests
  • Create special moments by surprising & delighting guests
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly
