WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?:

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Assistant Catering Manager, you'll be at the helm of all things catering service operations. These are the results you'll be hired to accomplish:

» ① Develop a Highly-Skilled On-Site Service Team

You’ll lead by example, training your on-site service team with hands-on, side-by-side coaching at every event. You’ll teach them to master steps of service, sharpen their menu knowledge, and give in-the-moment feedback to help them get a little better, every time they work.

» ② Buttoned-Up Pre-Event Coordination

Cross your t’s, and dot your i’s, bb! In this role, you’ll ensure that every event detail is meticulously finalized. Menu selections? Locked in. Timeline? Confirmed, thrice. Weird, one-off special requests? Handled and crystal-freaking-clear. No loose ends, no missing info, just everything the on-site event team needs to execute the event *without a hitch*.

» ③ Verified & Accurate Front-of-House Pack

Let’s take this show on the road! As an off-site caterer, we’re always on the move, so it’s c-r-i-t-i-c-a-l that we have everything we need before we leave HQ. You’re the behind-the-scenes hero, making sure every front-of-house essential - linens, place settings, bar supplies and more - is packed, checked, and good to go. You’ll ensure our front-of-house team is totally set up for success BEFORE they leave - nothing missed, no last-minute chaos.

» ④ Deliver a ‘Good-Time Hospitality’ Guest Experience

You, dah-ling, are the secret ingredient! You’ll lead the charge to make sure that every guest - at every event - feels warmly welcomed, genuinely cared for, and totally at ease - every damn time . From handling special dietary needs with care, to thoughtfully adjusting timelines when plans don’t go to plan, you’ll ensure every guest - and especially every host! - leaves raving about our high-level hospitality.

» ⑤ Run Smooth At-Event Service Operations

On event day, you’ll keep the front-of-house running like a well-*buttered* machine - ensuring the dining room and bar are fully set up, the pace of service is on point, and your team is always in the loop. And when something inevitably goes sideways? You’re the cool-headed fixer, solving problems on the fly.

*As a disclaimer*: This is a new-ish position, in a rapidly growing company, in an always-changing industry. That means that this position and its responsibilities will continue to evolve. So, if you're change-adverse, this job ain't it.

That being said - if you're good with change, and are willing to try new things - you'll love this job, and it'll love you right back.

PAY

The total compensation for this position will be between $50000 - $60000 per year. Base salary depends on relevant experience.
