We are seeking an experienced and dependable Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor to lead our environmental services team within our skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.
The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and passionate about maintaining high standards in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule housekeeping and laundry staff
- Ensure daily cleaning and laundry operations meet facility standards
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, CDC, and state health regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of resident rooms and common areas
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry chemicals
- Coordinate deep cleaning schedules and infection control procedures
- Collaborate with nursing and administration teams to ensure resident satisfaction
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in housekeeping, laundry services, or environmental services
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
- Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility strongly preferred
- Knowledge of infection control standards and safety regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
