Catering Manager- Mall at Wellington Green
Job Summary
The Catering Manager is a leadership position in our business, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the planning and execution of catering and outside sales. The Catering Manager is responsible for leading the catering and ADP events within the business. The Catering Manager collaborates with the Sales and Marketing Director on business planning and execution.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
● Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Director on monthly and quarterly business planning for the Sales and Marketing department
● Analyze business results from our store and similar stores in the market to identify potential systematic changes needed
Operations:
● Effectively communicate needed labor, food, and other resources needed for each event
● Support FOH and BOH departments in daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning in the business
● Operational hours will consist with a balance of catering execution as well as positional support hours in FOH and BOH department
● Ensure all levels of the business are serving guests with excellence and using the Winning Hearts Everyday strategy when executing catering orders and ADP events
Leadership Oversight:
● Ensure a well-defined meeting cadence is in place for check-ins with the FOH and BOH leadership teams to ensure that there is communication about upcoming events and ensuring there is a point person to execute catering through all day parts
● Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, and a ‘serve others mindset'
Training and Development:
● Collaborate with the FOH Leadership team to ensure Front of House is trained on catering setups, payment, and execution. As well as trained on ADP set up and execution
Success Metrics
We know that the Catering Manager is successfully meeting and exceeding role expectations when the following items are met:
● Monthly ADP and catering sales goals are being met or exceeded
● Restaurant Net Profit meets or exceeds 11%
