Catering Director

Position Summary

The Catering Director is responsible for leading and growing Chick-fil-A’s catering business through exceptional service, strong community relationships, and effective team leadership. This role will fully own all aspects of catering—from managing vendor partnerships and developing new business opportunities to overseeing flawless execution of catering orders. The ideal candidate combines business acumen, leadership skills, and a passion for guest care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the catering program end-to-end, including strategy, planning, execution, and growth.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships—fostering partnerships within the community to drive awareness and increase catering sales.
  • Train, develop, and lead a high-performing catering team, ensuring excellence in both pick-up and delivery orders.
  • Manage operational logistics for catering orders, including order accuracy, quality control, and timely delivery.
  • Develop systems and processes to ensure consistent execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create and implement sales and marketing strategies for catering growth.
  • Champion Chick-fil-A’s culture and values—modeling servant leadership, positivity, and teamwork daily.
  • Foster a culture of ownership and accountability, encouraging growth and engagement among team members.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in catering, event management, or restaurant operations (leadership experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and think strategically.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for vendor and delivery coordination.
  • Previous catering and sales growth experience highly preferred.
