Pay Rate: $16.50– $22.00/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct in-home care including personal care, companionship, safety support, and daily living assistance
- Serve as the primary caregiver for first clients as the territory opens
- Assist with initial client introductions and help establish care routines
- Support caregivers who come on board after you (informal mentorship)
- Communicate regularly with the office team regarding client needs and scheduling
- Help maintain a positive and dependable company reputation in a new market
Requirements:
- Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional caregiving experience (CNA a plus but not required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks
- Strong work ethic and the ability to adapt in a growing service area
- Comfortable working with clients of varying care levels
- 19 years of age (minimum) with Reliable Transportation
- Must be able to obtain a level one fingerprint clearance card. Additionally, must have no records with LEIE, SAMs & Central Registry.
- Must provide three (3) verifiable references (non-family). One reference must be from a previous employer/ contractor
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid Certifications Negative TB test or must submit a free from pulmonary tuberculosis
- Caregivers must provide evidence that they have passed the Arizona state-mandated written tests and hands-on skills test within 90 days from the date of starting services.
- HOYER LIFT EXPERIENCE (Preferred but no needed)
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide tasks necessary for the comfort and safety of the Member that do not require medical or nursing supervision.
- Assist with all needed ADL’s
- Assist with transfers to and from bed to wheelchair, and ambulation.
- Provides homemaking tasks that will maintain a safe and sanitary living condition for the Member
- Provides nutritional meal preparation; meal planning, shopping, and medication pick up. (Meal preparation is provided for the Member only.)
- Assist Members to medical appointments and scheduling (Caregiver may accompany Members to their appointments on public transportation. Caregiver cannot provide transportation as an employee of Emblem Home Care).
