What we are looking for:

We are seeking a respectful team player who is self-motivated, an excellent communicator, and detail-oriented. As a Dog Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests in the daycare and boarding areas. Your love for animals and passion for customer service will shine through as you provide exceptional care and attention to each pet.

Responsibilities:

• Comfortably handle and lift dogs of all sizes, up to 60 lbs
• Tolerate close contact with bodily fluids and be prepared to get dirty
• Be reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Maintain a cheerful, friendly, and positive attitude
• Work as a team and assist other departments as necessary
• Ensure each guest is treated with respect and dignity
• Provide appropriate food, water, and clean bowls for each guest
• Clean up after dogs, including waste and any accidents
• Walk dogs on leash and engage in play activities
• Supervise and monitor dogs in camp yards, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
• Follow safety protocols for handling aggressive or special needs dogs
• Alert front staff and managers of any health or behavioral concerns
• Work in various conditions and environments
• Passionate about animal care and willing to learn animal behavior
• Focus on safe and gentle handling, avoiding forceful or aggressive methods
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
