Position Type:

  • Full-time and Part-time (Open/close/Weekends)

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:


Operational Excellence

  • Prepare and cook menu items to Chick-fil-A standards for quality and accuracy.
  • Follow recipes, portioning, and food safety protocols with consistency.
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout shifts.
  • Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned

Teamwork & Communication

  • Work collaboratively to ensure speed and accuracy during peak periods.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with kitchen and FOH teams.
  • Support inventory management, restocking, and labeling systems.

Cleanliness & Safety

  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Complete daily cleaning tasks with attention to detail.
  • Maintain a positive, calm attitude even under pressure.
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership

Growth & Development

  • Take initiative to learn multiple stations and skills.
  • Demonstrate accountability for performance and punctuality.
  • Engage in leadership and cross-training opportunities as available.
  • Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
