The Club Server-Bartender is responsible for the exceptional service of member’s needs and requests related to their dining and entertainment experience including but not limited to: creating and establishing a comfortable, engaging and relaxing experience, answering and delivering guest requests in a timely manner, preparation and delivery of food, beverages, etc… as well as maintaining a clean environment.  Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.



Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

-Completion of all server-bartender opening and closing procedures as assigned for shift, restock and replenish supplies. 

-Presents the daily menu, specials, answers questions and makes suggestions regarding food and service. Places guest order and enters all food and beverages into the point of sale, serves courses from the kitchen and service bar, garnishes and inspects beverages and food prior to serving.  

-Communicates efficiently and effectively with the Chef, F&B and dining room Manager and service team to assure guest satisfaction standards are consistently attained.

-Observes guests and responds to additional requests or needs throughout the course of their dining service.

-Maintains organization, proper table maintenance and cleanliness of the service work station and kitchen during their shift.


Additional Responsibilities: 

-Assist other team members to create an efficient and productive experience for guests.  

-Answer the telephone with a friendly and helpful tone during the shift when needed.

-Understanding of food and beverage department of health regulations as it relates to food handling.

-Checking ID to ensure minimum age requirement is met for sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages

-Be able to recognize customer intoxication and alert the dining room manager or other members of the management team.


Requirements:


Required Skill/Knowledge: 

-Effective written and oral communication skills.  

-Efficient time management skills.  

-Prior Customer Service and/or Service Industry experience. 

ability to carry and lift trays of food and beverage

-Stand and move for prolonged periods of time.


Preferred Skills/ Knowledge: 

-Previous Country Club / Fine Dining work experience.

-5+ years bartending

-Experience working within a fast paced environment.

-Knowledge of wines, cocktails and liquor, and their proper service


Education Level / Required Certification: 

-High school graduate, some college preferred.

-Completion of food handlers safety & training course

-Completion of BASSET course


Problem Solving: 

Ability to problem solve various situations involving multiple variables while being courteous and professional.
