Job Description
At Chick-fil-A, the Catering Leader role is more than just a position—it’s an opportunity to lead a key part of the business. The Catering Leader is responsible for overseeing all catering operations, ensuring that every order is executed with excellence from preparation through delivery or pickup. This role works closely with operations and Marketing Leads to grow catering sales, build relationships, and deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for every guest. In addition to leading catering, this role supports daily operations in both Front of House and Back of House, and drive-thru as needed.

Catering Leader Responsibilities
S.E.R.V.E Model Expectations
• Serve with Hospitality: Deliver exceptional service for every catering guest, ensuring a smooth and personalized experience
• Execute with Excellence: Ensure all catering orders are accurate, on time, and meet Chick-fil-A quality standards
• Respect Food Safety & Standards: Maintain proper food handling, packaging, and transportation standards
• Value Teamwork & Growth: Collaborate with Operations and Marketing to grow catering and support the team
• Elevate the Experience: Go above and beyond to create memorable catering experiences that drive repeat business
Catering Operations & Execution
• Oversee all catering orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Coordinate preparation, packaging, and handoff of all catering orders
• Ensure all deliveries and pick-ups are organized, accurate, and professional
• Maintain clear communication with guests regarding order details, timing, and expectations
• Ensure proper setup, presentation, and quality of all catering items
Sales Growth & Community Engagement
• Partner with Marketing Leads to develop strategies to grow catering sales
• Identify opportunities to build relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations
• Support promotions, sampling, and outreach efforts to increase catering awareness
• Follow up on catering experiences to build long-term guest relationships
Operations Support
• Support daily operations in FOH, BOH, and drive-thru as needed
• Assist with peak periods to ensure overall restaurant success
• Maintain organization of catering supplies, inventory, and storage areas
Leadership & Accountability
• Take ownership of the catering program and its overall success
• Ensure team members supporting catering orders are set up for success
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, organization, and communication
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and guest experience
