REQUIREMENTS:

  • FL OT License required.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting patients and /or equipment up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Credentialed with Medicaid and other insurances a plus, but not required
  • Current CPR is required (can be obtained/renewed after hired).
  • Drug Free


DUTIES:

  • Excellent communication skills in order to effectively work with patients, caregivers, and providers of other disciplines.
  • Willingness to provide support and advice to caregivers regarding the occupational therapy needs of patients.
  • Good interpersonal skills in order to supervise and work with occupational therapy assistants and other team members.
  • High levels of patience, kindness, and respect for others.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt.
