Help Kids Build Confidence, Skills, and Independence
Our growing outpatient pediatric therapy clinic is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who enjoys play-based therapy and helping children develop meaningful life skills. This position treats children exclusively in a collaborative pediatric environment alongside therapists who are passionate about child development. Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor, sensory processing, and functional independence
- Use play-based therapy techniques to engage children and support developmental progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in EMR
- Collaborate with other therapists and educate caregivers on home strategies
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Children ages 2–12 primarily
- Mix of developmental delay, sensory processing, ASD, and fine motor delays
- 30 and 40 minute, 1:1 treatment sessions
- Collaborative care with OT, PT, SLP and ABA
Required Qualifications — Please Apply Only If You Meet These
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Florida
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Experience working with children (clinical fieldwork, school, or pediatric setting)
- Comfortable engaging children through play-based therapy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Applicants without a current COTA license will not be considered.
Preferred Pediatric Experience
- Outpatient pediatric therapy experience
- Experience with sensory processing or sensory integration strategies
- Experience treating developmental delays, ASD, or fine motor challenges
