Position Summary
The Back of House (BOH) Food Service Professional ensures high-quality food preparation, safety, and kitchen execution that upholds Chick-fil-A’s culinary standards. This individual plays a crucial role behind the scenes, preparing ingredients, cooking products to exact specifications, and supporting seamless food production during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare ingredients to Chick-fil-A standards
- Cook chicken, fries, and other menu items consistently and accurately
- Follow strict food safety and temperature control procedures
- Maintain speed, accuracy, and quality during high-volume periods
Kitchen Organization & Cleanliness
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment
- Rotate inventory and ensure proper labeling, storage, and waste management
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists
Safety & Quality Assurance
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A’s food safety and HACCP guidelines
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and recipe specifications
- Complete temperature logs, station checklists, and product tracking
Team Collaboration
- Support other team members to maintain smooth kitchen flow
- Communicate effectively during rush periods and shift transitions
- Work with FOH to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment

Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in food service, kitchen operations, or culinary preparation
- Weekend availablity required
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds and stand for long periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume, fast-casual, or quick-service restaurants
- Exposure to structured food preparation systems or stations
- Food Safety Certification (plus, not required)
- Bilingual Spanish (plus, not required)
