Leadership Responsibilities:
- Participate in operationally running day-to-day kitchen activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
- Ensure all food safety and quality standards are met consistently
- Assist in training new kitchen team members, set the tone for each shift, and serve as a role model for the team
- Foster a positive, supportive, and efficient work environment
- Open and/or close the kitchen, lead shifts, and serve as a key holder
- Maintain accurate counts for inventory and supplies, completing end-of-day kitchen checks and reports
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, to ensure smooth coordination with team members and leadership
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred (Shift Lead, Crew Lead, Supervisor, Team Lead, Restaurant Manager, or Assistant Manager)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with kitchen team members and leadership
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment and make quick, informed decisions
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude
- Commitment to Chick-fil-A’s values and mission
- Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with team members at all times
- Strong people skills with a desire to support, train, and develop kitchen team members
- Reliable transportation
- Commitment to maintaining superior food quality, safety, and operational standards
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Ability to address team member behavioral and performance issues professionally and constructively
