Urgent Opportunity at Mathnasium of Astoria: Afterschool Math Education Sales/Marketing Coordinator

As a highly motivated Sales/Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in growing our center. You’ll manage new leads, coordinate exciting marketing activities, and represent our brand within the community. Join us in our mission to teach children math so they can understand, master, and love it!
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, text, and email.
- Schedule and confirm student assessments and parent consultations.
- Attend community events and PTA meetings to promote our programs.
- Track leads, consultations, and enrollments weekly.
- Converting leads to accounts
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Coordinate materials for community events (banners, flyers, giveaways).
- Build relationships with local schools to extend our offerings
- Run math nights and brand/trust building with schools
- Collaborate on monthly marketing plans with the Center Director.
- Support social media and local marketing campaigns.
- Enter and track leads from events for follow-up.
Team Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with the Owner, Assistant Director, and instructors.
- Contribute to a fun, professional, and student-centered environment.
- Help ensure smooth onboarding for new students.
Qualifications
- Experience with Mathnasium centers, especially in sales, is a BIG plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Quick learner
- Proven track record in education services sales.
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Outgoing personality; enjoys connecting with families and schools.
- Comfortable using basic computer tools (Google Workspace, CRM, etc.).
- Must be available some evenings or weekends for events.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time: 15–20 hours/week
- Schedule: Weekday afternoons/evenings + occasional weekends for events
- Base Pay: $18–$25/hour (depending on experience)
- Potential Performance Bonuses: Enrollment and event bonuses available for strong performance if meet expected metrics
