As a Counter team member at The Loose Moose & Antler Room, you will provide friendly, efficient service while taking guest orders, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring pizzas are served to our quality standards. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment while creating a welcoming and enjoyable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and accurately enter orders into the POS system.
- Process guest payments and handle cash and electronic transactions.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with responsible alcohol service standards.
- Serve guests through the order window when the Antler Room is open.
- Reheat pizza slices and finish pizzas with parmesan, oil, and other required toppings or garnishes.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of beverages, food products, and service supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, service areas, and equipment throughout each shift.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, counter service, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Valid Smart Serve certification is required.
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable handling payments and operating POS systems.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
