As the Back of House Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for making sure Chick-fil-A Dartmouth is Dartmouth’s most caring company for all guests. You will play a key role in assisting the management team in all aspects of shift management and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. Supervisors are responsible for supervising assigned stations for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager.
Position type:
- Full-time and on-site, open availability preferred
- Must be available to work on Saturday's. This position is not a M-F only job.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- This role is 100% within operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Follows Chick-fil-A’s operational policies and procedures
- Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
- Complete understanding of each key position pertaining to the area under supervision
- Leads shift under direction of the overseeing Director
- Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to overseeing Director
- Partners with the leadership team to maintain appropriate daily and overall restaurant staffing levels
- Assists in training and coaching team members to ensure high performance, skill development, and adherence to company standards
- Solves on-shift issues related to accuracy, speed of service, and employee or guest issues
- Models and supports clear communication between the front counter and kitchen staffs
- Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
- Places daily truck orders, including orders for buns, supplies and produce, to ensure accurate and timely inventory replenishment
- Conducts regular inventory counts and participates in end-of-month inventory reconciliation
- Inputs waste and donation data into the Signal application to maintain accurate records and support operational efficiency
- Plan effective shift operations using the Floor Plan document
- Maintains a clean and pleasant environment
- Other assigned tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior leadership experience is required
- Restaurant experience is preferred
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
- Customer service oriented
- Consistency and reliability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented
- Able to multi-task
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
- Have the ability to lift and carry 5-50 lbs on a regular basis
- Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
