We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in Rutherford, NJ. In this role, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the salon, while also spearheading our social media marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Salon Manager with all aspects of salon operations, managing employees, including scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and attract new clients.
- Create engaging content for our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), including photos, videos, and promotions.
- Manage our email marketing campaigns, crafting compelling newsletters and targeted promotions.
- Oversee the salon team, providing coaching and ensuring they deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon environment.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the beauty industry.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a salon or spa.
- Strong understanding of social media and email marketing best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with creating engaging social media content (photos, videos, etc.).
- Proficient in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for the beauty industry.
