Salon Coordinator / Front Desk Manager

Business: Substance Salon & Barberspa
Pay: Starting at $20 per hour with performance potential up to $25+ per hour in 3 months
Substance Salon is seeking a professional Front Desk Coordinator with strong administrative and sales ability.
This is not a casual retail position. This role requires a mature, organized professional who understands how to manage schedules, employees, communicating with clients, and help drive daily sales through bookings and retail recommendations.
Communication Requirement
This is a client-facing role.
Fluent, confident spoken English with clear pronunciation and strong communication skills is mandatory. You must be comfortable speaking with clients on the phone, in person, and through text in a polished and professional manner.
Core Responsibilities
• Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations
• Answer phones and respond to client inquiries
• Check clients in and out while maintaining an efficient front desk
• Drive service bookings and retail sales
• Support stylists by keeping schedules full and organized
• Follow leadership direction and execute daily operational priorities
Ideal Background
We are looking for candidates with professional front desk or administrative experience, preferably in environments such as:
• Medical offices
• Dental offices
• Professional service businesses
• Salons or spas
*Applicants with only retail, volunteer or high school level work experience will not be considered.

• Professional, polished and reliable
• Well spoken, presentable and fashionable
• Strong administrative and organizational ability
• Sales oriented and comfortable recommending services and products
• Able to follow leadership and execute systems efficiently
