At Chick-fil-A Rancho Cucamonga, we exist to be the most loved and successful restaurant in the Inland Empire. We are seeking a Front of House Supervisor to join our leadership team and help drive excellence in guest service, team member development, and daily operations.


The FOH Supervisor serves as a front-line leader and shift manager, guiding Team Members to deliver remarkable hospitality, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, and upholding Chick-fil-A’s high standards of excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires humility, energy, emotional intelligence, and a desire to serve others.


The individual selected for this role will also begin an accelerated leadership development program designed to build both operational and leadership capabilities. They will start as a Team Member and, over the course of a few months, progress through Trainer, Crew Lead, and ultimately Supervisor with the support of structured training, regular performance check-ins, and dedicated mentorship from senior leadership. Progression is based on performance and not guaranteed, but this program provides a clear and supportive path toward leadership within Chick-fil-A.


Compensation

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience and stage in development program
  • Base wage of $23.50 upon promotion to Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of prior work experience in a customer-facing, team-based, or fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic — consistently shows up ready to work and meet commitments
  • Coachability and humility — receptive to feedback and eager to learn
  • Strong people skills and emotional intelligence — able to communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Commitment to upholding Chick-fil-A’s standards of excellence, hospitality, and food safety
  • Valid Food Handler’s Card (can obtain directly after hire)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of prior experience in a leadership role within food service, retail, or another customer service industry
  • Experience with shift management responsibilities such as opening/closing, handling cash, delegating tasks, or training new employees
  • Proven ability to motivate and develop team members to achieve performance goals
  • Familiarity with fast-paced, high-volume environments where operational accuracy and speed are critical
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example with servant leadership, integrity, and a focus on team success

Schedule Requirements

  • Full-time Availability (35+ hours per week)
  • Opening shifts: 6:00AM - 2:30PM
  • Closing shifts: 2:00PM - 10:30PM
  • Must be available Friday and Saturday night (2:00PM-10:30PM)

Responsibilities:


Shift Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and support Team Members to deliver exceptional guest experiences and foster a positive work environment
  • Create effective shift lineups, ensuring fair and strategic placement of Team Members in key roles
  • Provide mandated break periods for all employees on shift in compliance with CA Labor Law
  • Hold Team Members accountable to Chick-fil-A Rancho Cucamonga’s policies, procedures, and cultural standards through coaching and corrective action resources (e.g., Influences and Write-ups)
  • Utilize fellow restaurant leaders effectively to maintain smooth operations throughout the shift

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure completion of all essential tasks outlined on shift checklists
  • Monitor and adjust real-time staffing to achieve labor goals and control overtime
  • Maintain high performance in key operational metrics, including:
  • CEM scores: taste, speed of service, accuracy, cleanliness, and attentiveness
  • Identify operational deficiencies in real time, analyze root causes, and implement solutions
  • Respond to guest concerns using the HEARD model, resolving issues with care, hospitality, and professionalism
  • Consistently model joy, professionalism, and servant leadership to inspire the team and delight guests

Safety, Security, & Compliance

  • Facilitate safe and secure opening and closing of the restaurant
  • Follow policies for handling cash, property, and equipment, including POS drawer counts
  • Respond appropriately to equipment issues, following lockout/tagout procedures
  • Take proper action in the event of employee injuries, including first aid, clinic referral, or emergency services, and promptly notify HR and Sedgwick when required
  • Report any suspected harassment or discrimination immediately and responsibly

Collaboration & Communication

  • Participate in regular Supervisor meetings with peers and restaurant executive leadership
  • Communicate clearly with Team Members, Crew Leaders, and leadership to ensure alignment and successful shift outcomes
  • Support catering operations as needed, including occasional order deliveries
