Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Set up and break down cooking stations before and after shifts
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control
- Assist with prep work, stocking, and labeling food items
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members and support a positive work environment
- Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Assist in training new cooks and team members as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of cooking experience in a restaurant or fast casual environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Able to lift up to 30–40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
- Language: Ability to communicate in English and Spanish is preferred (bilingual candidates strongly encouraged)
