Alpha Phi Alpha Homes, Inc. is currently searching for a full-time Custodian in Akron, Ohio. Alpha Phi Alpha Homes, Inc. is a diverse non-profit organization that specializes in the development and management of affordable housing and senior resident living communities.

- Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Our Custodian will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred
- Reliable and dependable with good time management
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, supplies, and equipment
- Comfortable working in various environments and conditions
- Physically able to lift bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Our Custodian will:
- Clean and maintain building areas, including floors, restrooms, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling
- Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness of restrooms
- Report maintenance issues and ensure equipment is used safely
- Support overall upkeep and appearance of the property
