Service Manager

CCM Rental is currently seeking a full-time Service Manager to join their team in Chesterland, Ohio. CCM Rental is a fast-paced rental company serving Northeast Ohio from our three locations located in Chesterland, Middlefield, and Chardon. Each location has a complete selection of construction and heavy equipment, lawn and garden tools, hand tools and party rentals for graduations, weddings and more. - Salary: $40,000 – $60,000/year, offer dependent on experience
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 7:30AM – 5PM
- Saturdays: 8AM – 1PM
- 5 days a week
- Weekend availability is a must
The right candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar position is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
As a Service Manager, you will learn our processes on the following:
- Load/unload trucks
- Repair, clean, test, and maintain our rental equipment
- Properly and safely operate truck and trailer
- Work directly with the customer to ensure they receive all their reserved equipment
- Explain proper operations and safety features of equipment
- Assist in the loading and unloading of customer vehicles
- Organize and track inventory
- May be exposed to gasoline, diesel, and cleaning supplies
- Perform job duties in all weather conditions
- Developing the skills above will aid you in guiding your team to be efficient and productive. You will be responsible for managing your team.
- The manager will become proficient in our computer systems to ensure the day-to-day operations flow well for our team and our customers.
- Training will be provided as well as coaching for our leaders. This is designed so all CCM Managers have the same philosophies as our owner.
