CTMS is excited to extend an offer to join our team as our Field Technician. Field Technicians are the first line of defense for issues that require on-site attention, and most frequently represent CTMS in-person.

Key Responsibilities


• Responds to service requests and incidents under the direction of senior technicians or dispatch.

• Troubleshoots basic hardware and software issues, including workstations, printers, and mobile devices.

• Performs routine installations, configurations, and upgrades of hardware and software.

• Provides hands-on support for cable management, device setups, and basic network connectivity.

• Escalates complex issues to Tier 2 support following standard procedures.

• Document work performed in the ticketing system with accurate notes and status updates.

• Follows checklists and instructions to ensure consistent service delivery and adherence to company standards.

• Assists with inventory tracking of client hardware, software licenses, and IT assets.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area on client sites and ensure professional presentation.


Required Skills & Experience


• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)

• 1+ year(s) IT Support or customer facing technical roles preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

• Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc.

• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

• This role requires an above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and computer hardware is required.

• Valid drivers license and onsite travel required.
