Commercial Roof Coating Foreman/Crew Lead

Diversified Roofing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Commercial Roof Coating Foreman to lead and manage field crews on commercial roof restoration projects across the United States.
This position requires a proven leader who can take ownership of projects, direct crews, communicate effectively with management, and deliver consistent results in a fast-paced, travel-based environment (approximately 75% travel).
Diversified Roofing Solutions specializes in high-performance commercial roof restoration systems. As a Foreman, you will play a critical role in executing fully warrantied systems while maintaining strict safety compliance and production standards.

- 40-50+ hours per week
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of commercial roofing and/or coating experience required
- 2+ years in a Foreman, Crew Lead, or Supervisory role required
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and restoration processes
- Proven ability to lead crews, manage production, and deliver projects on schedule
- Experience with fluid-applied coating systems (silicone, acrylic, urethane) strongly preferred
- Ability to read scopes of work, specifications, and project details
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in the field
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- High level of accountability, reliability, and professionalism
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop commercial roof coating crews on active job sites
- Plan and execute daily job site operations, including labor, materials, and equipment coordination
- Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications, company standards, and project timelines
- Supervise roof surface preparation (cleaning, repairs, detailing, priming)
- Oversee application of coating systems (silicone, acrylic, urethane, and fluid-applied membranes)
- Perform and/or oversee repairs on TPO, EPDM, metal, modified bitumen, and other commercial systems
- Direct flashing details, seam reinforcement, penetrations, and waterproofing work
- Operate and ensure proper use of spray rigs, pressure washers, mixers, and related equipment
- Enforce OSHA compliance and always company safety policies
- Conduct job site safety meetings and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Communicate daily progress, issues, and material needs to project managers and leadership
- Identify project risks, roof deficiencies, and field challenges, and provide solutions proactively
- Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and skill development
- Ensure crews maintain productivity standards and meet project deadlines
- Travel nationally (approximately 75%; all travel is covered by company)
