Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Manufacturing and/or welding experience.
- Basic mechanic aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous robotic welding experience preferred.
- MIG/GMAW or GTAW welding experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and work in various positions.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Ability to work around welding equipment, noise, fumes, and heat while using required PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor robotic welding systems and equipment/
- Load parts, select welding programs, and make approved adjustments.
- Set up fixtures and verify proper part orientation, fit-up, and alignment.
- Monitor welding parameters such as wire feed, voltage, and travel speed.
- Troubleshoot basic robotic welding issues and communicate equipment or quality concerns.
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
