Kitchen Manager
Now Hiring: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00/hour and up, depending on experience

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and operate shifts.
- Prepare prep daily prep lists for staff based on the needs of outlets and par levels.
- Prepare all food items according to standardized recipes and/or as specified. Check to ensure consistency of product.
- Labeling and stocking all ingredients in storage areas so they can be organized and easily accessible.
- Assist with ordering of products from vendors based on established par levels.
- Keep all refrigeration, storage and working areas clean, working conditions to comply with Health Department regulations.
- Ensure all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper working conditions.
- Prepare food items for production in the workstation. Read and use math skills to appropriately prepare items according to recipes.
- Train kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques and food safety procedures as they relate to the position.
- Requires stamina for standing and strength for lifting and moving products.
- Assist with plating of food, ensuring that finished plates are presentable.
- Help distribute food to various outlet locations from central kitchen by assisting with or driving golf cart, mid-size car or large van. Load varies; weather conditions vary. If required to drive, you will be asked to sign a driving agreement upon hire and be provided with some remedial training.
Kitchen Manager Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a cook required
- Previous Kitchen Manager experience preferred-not required
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Gervasi Management team from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position
