We’re now hiring a Spa Operations Manager at Gervasi Vineyard in Canton, OH!
Primary function is the direction and organization of the activities of the Spa staff and operations to ensure that the highest quality standards are met for all Spa services and experiences provided, efficiency in all spa operations, as well as maximizing profits. Includes the ability to lead, manage and oversee the training, hiring, scheduling and managing process of the hiring staff.

Typical day in the life as a Spa Operations Manager:
- Continuously evaluate the performance and encourage improvement of Spa personnel
- Plan and administer training and development programs within the department which will provide well trained employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with CEO/Marketplace support retail product organization, supply, and sales as assigned.
- Participate with the CEO and other appropriate managers in the creation of spa service offerings, products, promotions, and overall spa experience.
- Collaborate with Hotel Management and support to ensure best guest experience for hotel guests seeking spa Services.
- Collaborate with Event Management and support staff to ensure best guest experience for Event guests seeking spa Services.
- Implement effective cost control of supplies, support services and labor costs among all sub-departments.
- Observe outlet operations and take needed action to ensure standards of product presentation and service are being maintained
- Assist the support managers in establishing and achieving predetermined profit objectives and desired standards of service quality, cleanliness, stock, merchandising and promotions.
- Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer acceptance and satisfaction with spa services and experiences.
- Retail sales, service sales financial responsibilities as assigned by the CFO.
- Schedules deliveries and support services as needed to operate efficiently and timely.
What we are we looking for?
- Preferred 2+ years Spa Management
- Preferred 2+ year of Book4Time
- Required to work Opening + closing shifts; nights, weekends and some holidays.
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Gervasi Management team from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the Spa Service industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the business.
- Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with State/Local and GV Destination rules and regulations for compliance with stated policies, safe/efficient operations and required regulatory compliance.
- Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate Liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Excellent communication skills, and eye for detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Able to work all shifts and flexible schedules including select nights, regular weekends and possibly Holidays.
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
