Business Development Representative

Nemsys LLC is currently searching for a Business Development Representative to join their team in Toledo, Ohio! This entry-level position is perfect for someone with a passion for tech, an outgoing personality, and a desire to launch a career in sales or account management. As a BDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients—building relationships, identifying opportunities, and setting the stage for meaningful conversations with our senior sales team.

Pay & Bonus Structure:
- Base salary: $38,000–$45,000 (based on experience)
- Bonus Structure:
- Monthly bonus for qualified meetings and leads passed to sales
- Quarterly incentives tied to sales team performance
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $50,000–$60,000 in the first year
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8AM – 5PM
- Occasional travel to customer locations
The right candidate will have:
- A high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn
- Previous business development and/or marketing experience is a plus
- Previous customer service, inside sales, or retail experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers
- Detail-oriented with good organizational habits
- Tech-savvy and curious about IT solutions (no deep knowledge required—just interest!)
Our Business Development Representative will:
- Research and identify potential clients within our target markets
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, social media, and networking
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the Account Executives
- Manage and update lead information in the CRM system
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine outreach strategies and messaging
- Represent the company at local events, chamber meetings, and networking functions
- Learn the ins and outs of our services to confidently speak to prospects about IT challenges and solutions
