CNC Programmer & CNC Machinist

Pemco, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time CNC Programmer & CNC Machinist to join their team in Independence, Ohio.

Pay Details:
- Pay: $29 - $34/hour, offer dependent on experience
- Overtime pay
- Yearly bonuses
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
The right candidate will have:
- At least 8 years previous machining experience with mills & lathes
- At least 5 years previous CNC programming experience with mills & lathes
- HURCO programing experience is a plus
- CAM software experience, Pemco has Autodesk Fusion 360
- Knowledge of setup and use of all basic shop measuring equipment and gauges
- Self-directed career minded professional with ability to work well with other skilled machinists
- Ability to frequently lift to 50 lbs.; occasionally more than 50 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally use manual equipment
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and effectively communicate and interpret drawings and symbols
- Must adhere to industry safety standards and practices
Our CNC Programmer & Machinist will:
- Read customer drawings from blueprints or CAD
- Determine machining sequences
- Select tools necessary
- Write your own programs at the machine on a Hurco conversational control or in Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM software
- Program CNC, machine, and inspect
- Knowledge of how to use precision tools and all other tools related to machining
- Maintain all necessary production and quality documents
- Maintain equipment
