BTR Haus Communities is currently seeking a full-time Leasing Manager to join their team in the Greater Cleveland Area. This position will be responsible for leasing at our Built-to-Rent apartment locations and will split time between multiple sites based on lead traffic and company needs. This role will be of utmost importance in helping to lead leasing in our brand new luxury properties and help to train new leasing agents throughout the BTR portfolio.
Our ideal Leasing Manager will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in the apartment management field (or similar direct sales environment), ideally in a supervisory role
- Training background is a plus
- Ability to maintain a clean and organize workplace for those that visit the office
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Persuasive marketing and sales skills (on phone and in person)
- Customer Service Orientation
- Excellent organizational skills

- Pay: $55,000 base + Leasing commissions and bonuses
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 9AM – 6 PM
- Weekend availability is a must (5-day work week with some weekends)
Our Leasing Manager will be responsible for:
- Provide guided and virtual tours of the apartment communities to prospective residents
- Training new leasing agents throughout the company (virtually and in person)
- Taking on new leasing initiatives and having flexibility and adaptability to work at different sites
- Keep accurate and detailed records of phone and walk-in traffic utilizing approved traffic logs and guest cards
- Successfully find new homes for prospective residents and be able to explain why our homes and services are the best fit for them
- Care for the community with regular unit and site inspections and upkeep
- Train and monitor leasing process including sales techniques, lead generation, and management
- Establish and execute a monthly outreach plan and regular resident events schedule
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, sister properties, and competitors
- Assist the management team in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to increase property traffic and internet leads
- Adhere to all laws including the Fair Housing Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartment rental
- Manage the tenant lifecycle by being knowledgeable and organized with all lease-related paperwork, including processing applications, preparing move-in information, managing lease files, managing renewal letters/leases, completing brochures, completing move out requests, and any other forms utilized for leasing and resident relations
- Can do attitude- Willingness to take on various roles as may be necessary to achieve property goals
- In absence of community manager, taking on leadership of the community to achieve daily property goals
