Fitness Equipment Field Service Technician
ServiceRX is on the lookout for a dedicated Fitness Equipment Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of both residential and commercial fitness equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including repairs, preventive maintenance, and the occasional installation of fitness machinery such as treadmills, ellipticals, climbers, recumbent bikes, and weight systems. Efficiency and timely service are at the heart of this position, alongside diagnosing and repairing equipment, managing parts orders and returns, and adeptly handling work orders through our mobile and PC applications.

- Pay: $20+ per hour
- Shift: Averaging a 4-day work week!

What You’ll Do:
- Perform service in a timely manner
- Perform repair, preventive maintenance, and occasional installation of residential & commercial fitness equipment.
- Perform service in a timely manner.
- Diagnose and repair fitness equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, climbers, recumbent bikes, single/multi-stack weight systems, etc.
- Order and return parts when required.
- Complete work orders using the mobile app software and/or a PC/Scan to upload documents when required.
- Update work order statuses and complete work orders according to company procedures.
- Communicate with the office staff to facilitate accurate & timely completion of work orders.
- Maintain a technical proficiency level with old and new equipment through manufacturer training, reading manuals, networking with other service technicians, and online training videos.
What We’re Looking For:
- Candidate must have at least 1 year of electrical and/or mechanical experience. Life experiences will qualify as well.
- Must be able to read exploded parts diagrams and diagnose technical equipment issues.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must have a reliable phone and/or internet.
- Must have phenomenal customer service.
- Must be detailed oriented, organized, and have the ability to multitask.
- Must be able and willing to drive in a company car daily.
