South-Tek Systems is a leading manufacturer of Mission Critical nitrogen generation systems for industrial process, commercial, and military applications. South-Tek’s innovative products and systems deliver Expertise, Control and Performance for our customers, enabling them to generate nitrogen on-premise, reducing costs while ensuring reliability and safety. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform various tasks including part assemblies, mechanical plumbing, electrical panels, and other assigned manufacturing tasks. The Production Assembler is a skilled technician with the ability to perform most tasks independently, while seeking guidance or training for more critical tasks.

Job Responsibilities:
• Build mechanical assemblies to required specifications.
• Wire control panels and other sub-assemblies.
• Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.
• Assemble parts timely and accurately to meet production requirements.
• Demonstrate consistency, customer focus, respect for people, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethic.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Uses various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties.
• Test to ensure quality and function of completed material.
• Ensure subassemblies are available for final assembly.
• Help identify material problems and maintain stock inventory levels.
• Maintain a clean and safe work in orderly condition.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform independently or in a team setting.
• Execute general shop maintenance such as cleanup of shop, work area, and equipment.
• Safely utilize forklifts, power jacks, and other lifting/handling equipment to move warehouse material according to proper safety instructions.
• Work with Engineers to solve problems, improve quality, and improve performance.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test – required
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record required
• Mechanical assembly and tool knowledge is required.
• Able to read and build with mechanical drawings is required.
• Both mechanical and electrical experience is highly desired.
• Computer proficiency in work area required.
• Must be able to work from a ladder, scissor lift, or raised platform.
• Must be able to work in outside temperatures and conditions occasionally.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push weight up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Proven record of good attendance.
