Role Summary: A full-service greeting team member committed to serving guests.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greets and interacts with guests as they enter and leave the restaurant
- Answers telephone and answers questions or directs calls to the appropriate staff member
- Manages the wait list and escorts guests to their appropriate table
- Takes guest tickets and retrieves guest orders
- Processes guest payments accurately and maintains an accurate cash drawer
- Maintains adequate stock of menus, supplies, and silverware
- Cleans various areas of the restaurant, including tables, counters, floors, and trash bins
- Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictate
- Other duties and responsibilities as directed by restaurant management
Qualifications & Skills:
- No Experience Necessary
- Customer-friendly demeanor and willingness to serve
- Able to stand for prolonged periods (entire shift), walk, bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects, as needed
- Able to maintain positive energy throughout shift with an outgoing, friendly, and patient attitude
- Able to excel in a fast-paced, team environment with a sense of urgency in getting things done
- Able to think ahead and anticipate problems before they happen
- Willing to work a flexible schedule and arrive to work at the scheduled time
- Demonstrates unquestionable integrity
