Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Shift Supervisor to help oversee daily operations of our restaurant and bar. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about hospitality, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service and cleanliness. The Shift Lead will support management by supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight
- Lead front-of-house (FOH) staff during assigned shifts.
- Ensure the restaurant and bar remain clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
- Monitor service and food quality, addressing issues promptly.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness in guest areas, restrooms, and FOH stations.
- Sales & Customer Engagement
- Drive daily sales through upselling, team motivation, and strong service standards.
- Ensure guests have a positive experience, encouraging return visits and positive reviews.
- Build and maintain relationships with nearby small businesses and the local community to foster partnerships and local traffic.
- Team Support
- Provide leadership and support to team members during shifts.
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
- Ensure team adherence to company policies, health regulations, and safety procedures.
- Inventory & Reporting
- Perform inventory counts as scheduled and as needed.
- Prepare inventory reports and create detailed lists of supplies and stock needed.
- Communicate any shortages, overstock, or issues with the management team.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a supervisory or lead role in the hospitality industry (preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player
- Lead and motivate a team of hardworking individuals.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Oversee daily operations and maintain a clean and safe environment.
