Director of Operations (Financial Stewardship)
Vision:
- Develop Business Plan for the year with the Operator and share with Executive Leadership Team defining all goals and a plan to reach them
- Meet with Executive Leadership Team weekly
- Meet with reporting Leadership Team weekly

People:
- Recruit, Train, & Develop Operations Team
- Continuously develop your team
- Weekly meetings with Directors & Coordinators to challenge & encourage
- Continuously develop yourself
- 1 book on Leadership or Personal Growth/2 months
- 1 Podcast Weekly on Leadership or Personal Growth
- Ensure Individual Development Plans are created for all emerging leaders
- Hold your team accountable for their responsibilities
- Complete evaluations on all Coordinators in your team quarterly
- Complete and distribute the Weekly Schedule on time (Thursday at noon)
Quality & Customer Experience:
- Time block your schedule to hit all areas of Operations every day (Kitchen, DT, FC, Dining Room, Facilities)
- Work in Operations during peak hours to assist team and build unity
- Enforce commitment to EXCELLENCE in ALL THINGS, OWNERSHIP, & TEAMWORK
- Cultivate team members to anticipate needs and have a sense of urgency
- Enforce task lists & implementation with entire staff
Brand & Sales Growth
- Post and reiterate all daily sales numbers and goals
- Create a competitive, enthusiastic, & positive culture towards reaching sales goals
- Work in tandem with Director of Brand and Sales Growth on catering & community events to ensure REMARKable experiences for all guests and clients
- Stay up to date on all roll outs, LTO & promotional items
Financial Return
- Complete End of Month Package with Director team & Operator
- Keep labor IPO under 1%, food IPO under .5% and general IPO under .1%
- Ensure good stewardship of all resources
- Compare sales & costs to previous year and project & plan for coming months/year
- Review daily lineup with leadership to assess deviations from schedule and secure strong labor productivity
- Work with Scheduling Coordinator to ensure schedules follow Department / Area Specific processes and fit the needs of the business / team
