About the Internship:

This paid internship program is unique to Chick-fil-A Appleton and embodies our desire to train and develop leaders in the community around us. Participants will learn valuable skills in leading, serving, community, and business.


Desired Outcomes:

  • Serve on a team: You will experience setting goals, creating culture, solving problems, and growing community.
  • Lead a team: You will learn how to lead others in one-on-one and in team settings through formal leading sessions, performance feedback, leadership meetings, formal training, and reading and podcast assignments. 
  • Be part of a community: You will be committed to finding ways to grow Chick-fil-A in the community.
  • Succeed as a Leader: This program is meant to launch you into any career, in which you can lead well and have a positive impact on those around you.

Work Experiences:

  • Team Member Training (50% of your time). The goal of team member training is to build your skills so you are able to support and lead your team.
  • Shift Leader Training (Up to 25% of your time). Leadership is a foundation at our restaurant. By leading yourself and others well, you will be more successful.
  • Coordinator/Director Rotations (Up to 25% of your time). Three to six months will be spent in the director's role that best fits your area of focus.
