Job title: Dishwasher
Reports to: Executive Chef
Job purpose
To transport and clean all cooking utensils and service ware within the food and beverage department.
Responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area at all times.
• Keep all dishware, silverware and glassware clean and properly stocked in appropriate racks/containers.
• Clean pots and pans used by culinary staff and store all items in their respective areas.
• Must be proficient in proper operation of equipment/dish machines including proper detergents and water temperatures.
• Empty trash cans when needed.
• Keep all floors in kitchen area clean and dry. Ensure that wet floor signs are visible when necessary.
• Polish silver prior to placing in respective areas.
• Inform the Executive Chef of any chemicals that need to be ordered.
• Complete shift checklists.
• Perform all other functions as directed by Executive Chef.

• Is pleasant and friendly when interacting with guests.
Team Interaction
• Encourage and build mutual respect and cooperation among team members.
• Communicate effectively with all property team members.
• Respond in a timely manner to all members of the Management Team.
• Is professional and courteous towards team members at all times.

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Qualifications
• Must have valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to push/pull, lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently with all departments.
• Must be able to speak basic English.
• Willing to work flexible hours to include weekends, holidays and late nights.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• MUST have a passion for providing “excellent” customer service experience.
