Large Loss Restoration Supervisor

Position Description

Resource Coordinator oversees equipment and material usage on a large loss mitigation and construction project, from the initial start to its completion. They, monitor and ensure availability of resources needed on commercial and residential construction restoration according to company and insurance policies procedures and compliance. Track inventory and assist in maintaining timesheet documentation. 


Resource Coordinators define and procure daily supply materials and equipment. Maintains equipment and trailer to ensure they are in working condition prior to and while on site.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety procedures and PPE usage
  • Keep a jobsite clean and organized
  • Ensure compliance to all local, state or federal permitting, inspections, compliance and laws. 
  • Maintain trailer stocking levels
  • Coordinate and order materials required on the project in order to maintain project schedules
  • Obtain and ensure all rental equipment is returned at the end of the job.
  • Maintain contractor timesheets
  • Maintain inventory of equipment on-site and returned post project completion
  • Coordinate and perform equipment maintenance and repair as required
  • Resolve material supply and equipment issues during the project.

Skill Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record, preferrable CDL
  • Able to work independently or work with/lead a team
  • Strong verbal and written and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and customer service skills
  • Mechanical and small engine experience
  • Work to a schedule
  • Must be able to travel on an on call (24/7) basis up to 250 days a year
  • Must be able to work long hours as required

Incumbent must be prepared to:

  • Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required.   
  • For safety reasons, use of appropriate PPE to avoid situational hazards must be used for example respirators, gloves etc.
