Position Description:

Technicians execute task assignments as defined by the project manager.  

Technicians Level 1 represents the ServiceMaster Cornerstone brand and maintains a professional appearance, punctuality, and a clean work environment and supports customers as required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Load equipment, review assignments, and travel to job sites
  • Perform water, mold, fire, and bio remediation (extraction, demolition, cleanup)
  • Set up and monitor remediation equipment
  • Report equipment issues and job site concerns to Project Manager
  • Track time and maintain accurate records
  • Follow safety protocols and use PPE at all times
  • Complete work efficiently and to company standards


Skills & Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently or lead a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and directions

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods. Lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching is required.
  • For safety reasons, use of appropriate PPE to avoid situational hazards must be used for example respirators, gloves, etc.
  • Exposure to various inside and outside working and environmental conditions
