Facilities & Equipment Lead 

We are the Beacon on Barry - where people are nourished, equipped and prepared for the road ahead. This role assists and executes logistics through efficiency and facilities maintenance.    


We are currently seeking a Facilities and Equipment Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Facilities and Equipment Lead, you will be responsible for providing excellent service, taking guest orders, preparing food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the front of the restaurant. As well as ensuring facilities are properly maintained and operational for guest or team member use.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to facilities maintenance.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of the restaurant's facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, promotions, and other business initiatives.
  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take guest orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front of the restaurant
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system
  • Provide excellent service at all times

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain positive work relationships with internal and external vendors
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Must be 18 years or older. 
  • Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
