In the kitchen at Niffer’s, our goal to is serve the customer the highest quality food, cooked for optimal taste, and within a timely manner.  We buy quality products and keep them fresh by using detailed systems.  We use teamwork, communication, and commitment to excellence to achieve our goals of speed, quality, and consistency.  Our motto is “110% Kick butt Kitchen”


The right person for this job should be able to effectively communicate with the entire kitchen staff,  be team oriented, maintain a positive attitude, follow directions, and have an attention to detail.


Responsibilities of a kitchen employee:

  • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Preparing food for service 
  • Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion 
  • Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of your station, including equipment, coolers, cutting boards, and knives
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and food safety standards 
  • Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers 
  • Must be able to multitask and act quickly.
  • Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
