Closing Supervisor Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Leading their team to deliver a remarkable guest experience during their shifts

• Completing purposeful set ups to put the right people in their spots

• Monitoring labor and making necessary adjustments

• Support other leaders 

• Execution of huddles to ensure all team members are on the same page

• Knowing the correct way to handle guest problems

• Proactively checking behind team members

• Monitoring the grounds and inside of the building before, during, and after shift 

• Daily upkeep of quality assessments

• Completing daily and weekly cleaning list

• Leaving the restaurant better than what you found it

• Coaching the behaviors of all Team Members on their shifts. 

Those behaviors are:

o Hustle that creates a surprisingly fast Speed of Service

o Execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment 

o Proactive thinking to anticipate the needs of the guests

o Cash management best practices

A Supervisor should:

o Work a minimum of 30 hours per week

o Focus on coaching towards all related goals during their shifts

o Be well informed about policies and procedures

o Use an authoritative tone of voice

o Be reliable for the team
