Position Overview

As a Breader at Chick-fil-A, you play a critical role in delivering the brand’s signature product with excellence and consistency. This position is responsible for preparing and hand-breading chicken according to Chick-fil-A standards while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency during peak breakfast and lunch hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bread chicken following Chick-fil-A’s established procedures and quality standards
  • Maintain proper food safety practices, including raw chicken handling, temperature control, and sanitation
  • Ensure consistent product quality, including proper coating, portioning, and presentation
  • Manage high-volume production during breakfast and lunch rushes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Restock breading tables and monitor inventory levels throughout the shift

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 or older
  • This position requires availability from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, including Saturdays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts
  • Willingness to follow Chick-fil-A operational and food safety standards

Preferred Attributes - Physical Requirements

  • Prior kitchen or food preparation experience is a plus, but not required
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrates initiative and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in a cold and wet environment (raw chicken prep area)
