Position Overview:
As the Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading and driving the overall performance and success of our Operations. You will collaborate with a team of Supervisors and Managers to ensure consistent operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and alignment with Chick-fil-A’s values and standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing large teams, optimizing operations, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards, efficiency, and exceptional service quality.
- Team Development: Lead and develop a team of restaurant leaders, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to help them grow and succeed.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage operational budgets, drive cost control measures, and optimize financial performance while maintaining high service standards.
- Customer Experience: Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding customer service and uphold the company’s commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all guests.
- Operational Strategy: Collaborate with High Performance Leadership Team to implement and improve operational procedures, increase efficiency, and achieve business goals.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure the restaurant complies with health, safety, and regulatory standards, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and employees.
- Problem-Solving: Identify operational challenges and implement corrective action plans to enhance performance, resolve issues, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Innovation & Growth: Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives, processes, and systems to foster growth and innovation in the Chick-fil-A brand.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in a high-volume, guest-focused restaurant.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams toward achieving company goals.
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization. ,
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven approach to addressing challenges.
- Operational Excellence: Knowledge of operational best practices and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
- Passion for Service: A deep passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred. MBA or other advanced degrees a plus.
