Delivery drivers are offered a part time scheduled, with the driver keeping 100% of his or her tips.
You must have a valid driver license and be 18 years of age. This is not a contract position, you will be a member of our Chick-fil-A team and will be expected to uphold our high standards of presentation, service, and care.
The ideal candidate must be able to execute Chick-fil-A hospitality with our guests in a caring way. Clear and excellent communication skills via our delivery app are paramount to help us continue meet our guest's expectations outside of the restaurant.
Job Types: Part-time (Hours of Operation for delivery 10:30am-8pm)
Requirements:
- Minimum age - 18 years old,
- Must have a valid Driver’s License for at least 1 year
- Cannot have a current/within the last year License suspension
- Cannot have a DUI/DWI on your record
- Authorizes us to obtain a three-year driving history report through Samba Safety.
- Exclusively operates our Chick-fil-A owned vehicles
- By operating our Chick-fil-A vehicles, the driver consents to in-cab and on-road recording while driving.
- Smart phone (used with delivery app)
- Drive safe and obey the rules of the road
Experience:
- Driving: 1 year
- Delivery Driver: 1 year (Preferred not required)
Main responsibilities:
- Greeting customers when entering and leaving the premises
- Following safe driving procedures
- Managing transactions using Delivery App
- Keeping your company delivery vehicle clean and organized
- Deliver portions that are correct and meet all weight and presentation expectations.
- Protect the customer experience by ensuring bagging, packaging, food presentation and quality is top level.
- Show up on time, in proper uniform, have a great attitude and work hard for your entire shift.
- Assist front-of-house operations when needed in any capacity
- Restocking and maintaining cleanliness when no deliveries are incoming/scheduled
- Be a team player
- Display care and a sense of personal responsibility to the success of your role in the business
